Fall Adjunct Faculty – Curriculum & Instruction (On‑Campus)

About the role

The College of Education is building a pool of qualified part‑time faculty for the Fall 2026 semester. As an Adjunct Faculty member in Curriculum and Instruction, you will deliver up to six semester credit hours in early childhood and elementary subjects, support student learning, and maintain office hours on campus.

Key responsibilities

• Teach up to six credit hours in Language & Literature for the Young Child, Science Principles (EC‑Grade 6), or Social Studies Principles (EC‑Grade 6) based on student demand.
• Hold regular office hours and provide academic assistance to enrolled students.
• Collaborate with department staff to ensure course objectives are met.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience in EC‑12 settings.
• Preferred prior experience teaching at the collegiate level.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Professional interaction with the public and ability to maintain confidentiality.
