About the role
The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta’s Research Department is seeking motivated students for its Fall 2026 Survey Center Internship. Interns will support the Economic Survey Research Center by engaging U.S. business leaders and gathering data that informs monetary policy.
Key responsibilities
- Cold‑call business leaders to invite participation in one of three economic surveys.
- Manage survey contact lists, including follow‑up with non‑responders.
- Research and identify potential survey respondents.
- Assist with ad‑hoc projects and data‑management tasks for the research team.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student, preferably studying economics or finance.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and excellent communication skills.
Required skills
What we offer
- Flexible work arrangement (onsite preferred or remote).
- 15 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, 8 AM‑6 PM EST.
- Experience in economic research and exposure to Federal Reserve operations.
