Faculty Development Coordinator

About the role

Advent Services is seeking a Faculty Development Coordinator to support faculty and instructional quality at Wright‑Patterson Air Force Base. The role focuses on coordinating faculty development programs, ensuring compliance with Air Force training standards, and driving continuous improvement of courses.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with quality assurance staff, course directors, instructors, and the Office of the Dean to support annual course reviews and evaluate effectiveness.
• Design, develop, and deliver professional development and training programs for faculty.
• Coordinate institutional accreditation, regulatory compliance, and special educational initiatives.
• Analyze end‑of‑course survey data and create SMART action plans to enhance instructional quality.
• Maintain and communicate instructor qualification records to meet Department of the Air Force, CCAF, USAFSAM, and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage instructor qualification tracking databases, perform data analysis, and support curriculum updates and testing programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• Minimum three years managing a higher‑education faculty development program, including instructor qualifications and quality assurance.
• Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders such as program managers, subject‑matter experts, and leadership.
• Ability to sign a Non‑Disclosure Agreement prior to start.
• Preferred: Master’s degree, familiarity with Air Force formal training and accreditation, experience in Department of the Air Force or CCAF environments, and project‑management certification.
