Faculty Associate – Teach Fashion & Costume Design

About the role

ASU FIDM is seeking Faculty Associates to teach undergraduate courses in fashion and costume design at its Downtown Phoenix campus, the ASU California Center in Los Angeles, and via online instruction. These are part‑time, one‑semester appointments starting Fall 2026 or Spring 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver in‑person or virtual lectures, discussions, and studio sessions.
• Prepare course materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Evaluate student work and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain weekly office hours for one‑on‑one student support.
• Keep accurate course records in line with university policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in fashion, costume design, or a related field.
• Minimum two years of professional industry experience.
• Demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence.
• Master’s degree and record of scholarly or professional publication are preferred.
