Factory Quality Technician

About the role

Join Nestlé’s Hereford pet‑food factory as a Quality Assurance Technician. You will help ensure food safety, regulatory compliance, and high‑quality standards for natural and organic pet food, working night B‑shift alongside a dedicated team.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure quality standards at the facility are achieved by maintaining documentation, effective communication, and adherence to Quality SOPs.
• Collect samples, perform relevant laboratory tests, and enter results into the system.
• Work closely with process, packaging, and maintenance teams to promote quality awareness.
• Monitor the packaging process to identify non‑conforming finished products and prevent them from reaching customers.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory testing equipment.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience in food quality, laboratory, manufacturing, or a related environment.
• Ability to work the night B‑shift (5 pm – 5 am CST).

Required skills

• Operation and maintenance of laboratory testing equipment.
• Sample collection and analytical testing.
• Equipment calibration and documentation.
