Facility Maintenance Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized Facility Maintenance Coordinator to oversee the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of our building infrastructure, utilities, and grounds. You will schedule preventive and corrective work, manage work orders, and support renovation projects to keep our facilities safe and efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance for building structure, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and grounds.
• Maintain the CMMS by creating, updating, and closing work orders and ensuring accurate documentation.
• Plan daily and weekly maintenance schedules to maximize resource utilization and minimize operational disruption.
• Monitor facility conditions, prioritize work based on safety and regulatory impact, and communicate with internal teams.
• Manage external contractors, obtain vendor quotes, and track service performance against scope, cost, and quality.
• Support facility projects such as renovations, layout changes, equipment moves, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Develop and improve preventive maintenance programs, procedures, and standard work practices.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards (OSHA, ISO).
• Coordinate job risk assessments, work permits, and promote safe work practices.

Required skills

• Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance planning.
• Vendor management and contract coordination.
• Familiarity with OSHA and ISO safety standards.
