Facility Custodian – Cleanliness Specialist

About the role

Cresco Labs is seeking a reliable Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of its manufacturing facility in Mount Joy. The role supports production by ensuring all areas meet strict health, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, and sanitizing floors, bathrooms, locker rooms, and refrigeration units.
• Inspect rooms and equipment to verify compliance with company and regulatory cleanliness standards.
• Coordinate cleaning schedules with production departments to avoid disruptions.
• Develop and adjust cleaning schedules based on facility needs.
• Maintain accurate records of sanitation activities and updates.
• Replace floor pads and other consumables as required.

Required profile

• Prior experience in custodial or cleaning roles, preferably in food production or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work physically demanding tasks, including standing, kneeling, and repetitive hand motions for extended periods.
• Familiarity with strict health and safety policies and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written cleaning schedules.

Required skills

• Operation of industrial cleaning equipment.
• Implementation of sanitation procedures and protocols.
• Knowledge of workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
