Facilities Technician – Weekend Shift

About the role

The Facilities Technician works on the weekend shift to keep the El Paso manufacturing plant operating smoothly. You will support OPEX and EHS initiatives by maintaining equipment, performing preventive and predictive maintenance, and minimizing downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on lifts, cranes, fans, motors, pumps, pressure vessels and other plant equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic schematics and PLC diagrams.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and HVAC systems.
• Carry out general facilities repairs including painting, carpentry, plumbing, welding and roofing.
• Execute work orders and PMs to maximize equipment reliability.
• Support continuous‑improvement projects such as 5S, TPM and set‑up reduction.
• Assist outside contractors on plant projects and maintain accurate maintenance logs.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
• At least 1 year experience with electrical systems (24 V‑480 V).
• At least 1 year experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with metal‑fabrication equipment and processes.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Windows‑based software.
• Residency within 50 miles of the El Paso facility; no relocation or immigration sponsorship.

What we offer

• $23.00 per hour hourly rate

• Weekend shift schedule (Friday‑Sunday, 6 am‑6:30 pm)
