Facilities Technician - Electrical

About the role

The Electrical Facilities Technician will serve as the primary in‑house electrical resource for Radiant’s El Segundo campus. The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading building electrical systems while also supporting broader facilities maintenance, construction projects, and daily operations in a dynamic startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues across lighting, panels, breakers, receptacles, circuits, emergency lighting and low‑voltage systems.
• Install, maintain and repair lighting fixtures, electrical panels and related components.
• Support electrical upgrades and facility expansion projects, coordinating with subcontractors when specialized work is required.
• Perform lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards.
• Conduct general building maintenance, including HVAC troubleshooting, basic plumbing repairs, and repairs to doors, ceilings, flooring and fixtures.
• Respond to facility emergencies and urgent maintenance requests.
• Maintain tools, equipment and maintenance inventories, and assist with parking lot and exterior grounds upkeep.
• Participate in safety audits, inspections and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of commercial, industrial, manufacturing or facilities electrical experience.
• Hands‑on problem‑solver comfortable performing electrical work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with facilities leadership, contractors, engineers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong attention to safety and compliance.
