Facilities Technician – 2nd Shift

About the role

Eaton’s Power Distribution Control Assembly division in El Paso is seeking a Facilities Technician for the 2nd shift. The role supports OPEX and EHS initiatives by maintaining plant equipment, performing preventive and predictive maintenance, and minimizing downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on lifts, cranes, workstations, fans, motors, pumps, pressure vessels and other equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic schematics and PLC diagrams.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and HVAC systems.
• Carry out general facilities repairs including painting, carpentry, plumbing, welding and roofing.
• Execute work orders and PMs to maximize equipment reliability.
• Support continuous‑improvement activities such as 5S+, TPM and set‑up reduction.
• Assist external contractors on plant projects and document all maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
• At least 1 year experience with electrical systems (24 V‑480 V).
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including pumps, valves, cylinders and sensors.
• Experience with metal‑fabrication equipment and basic computer skills (Windows).
