Facilities Project Manager – Campus Construction

About the role

The Facilities Project Manager will lead planning, coordination and execution of capital improvement, renovation and new construction projects across the East Texas A&M University campus. Reporting to the Facilities & Construction department, the role ensures projects meet schedule, budget, code compliance and sustainability objectives while serving as the primary liaison among university stakeholders, design teams and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and manage campus construction and renovation projects from concept through close‑out.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants and end‑users to define project scope, budget and timeline.
• Monitor progress to ensure delivery on time, within budget and in accordance with university standards, building codes and sustainability goals.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports and communication to senior leadership.
• Oversee procurement, contract administration and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
