Facilities & Procurement Manager – Retail Operations

About the role

As the Facilities & Procurement Manager you will own the end‑to‑end facility management and asset performance for H&M’s sales market stores. Based in the New York Support Office, you will ensure that stores operate safely, remain compliant, and deliver cost‑efficient performance throughout their lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Facilities Management strategy in line with global direction.
• Plan, prioritize and oversee preventive and reactive maintenance based on risk, lifecycle cost and business impact.
• Manage the handover of completed construction projects into operational status.
• Lead the Facilities Managers and Procurement Specialist teams, setting clear priorities and fostering collaboration.
• Maintain a strong supplier base, negotiate contracts and optimise OPEX and CAPEX through smart sourcing.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting for FM expenses.
• Ensure health, safety and regulatory compliance across all store environments.
• Maintain high data quality in FM systems (e.g., Planon) and use analytics for continuous improvement.
• Communicate transparently with stakeholders and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading facilities management and procurement functions in a retail or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of asset performance, maintenance planning and supplier governance.
• Ability to manage budgets, forecast OPEX/CAPEX and ensure compliance with local and global regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Experience with facility management software such as Planon.
