Facilities & Procurement Manager

About the role

The Facilities & Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing facility management and asset performance across H&M's sales market. Based in the New York Support Office, this hybrid role ensures stores are safe, compliant, cost‑efficient, and operationally excellent throughout their lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Facilities Management strategy in line with global direction.
• Plan and prioritize maintenance based on risk, lifecycle cost, and business impact.
• Manage all planned and reactive maintenance to minimise operational disruption.
• Maintain a strong supplier base, optimise costs through smart sourcing and performance‑based contracts.
• Support budgeting and forecasting of FM OPEX and CAPEX.
• Ensure health, safety and regulatory compliance for all store environments.
• Maintain high data quality in FM systems (e.g., Planon) and use data for continuous improvement.
• Lead and develop the Facilities Management team, fostering transparent communication and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading facilities management and procurement functions.
• Strong ability to collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Experience managing budgets, contracts and supplier performance.
• Knowledge of health, safety and regulatory standards in retail environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with FM software such as Planon.
