Facilities Management Co‑Op

About the role

The Facilities Management Co‑Op will support the Engineering & Property Services team at Johnson & Johnson’s Cincinnati (Blue Ash) campus, a research and development facility for MedTech surgical devices. You will gain hands‑on experience in facilities engineering, maintenance, capital projects, and compliance‑driven operations within a GxP‑regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining site master plans, facility improvement initiatives, and building documentation using AutoCAD.
• Support capital project planning, execution, tracking, and vendor coordination, including contractor oversight.
• Participate in infrastructure assessments of HVAC, refrigeration, fire protection, electrical, and building systems.
• Document meeting minutes, track action items, and prepare presentations summarizing project status and recommendations.
• Contribute to GxP documentation, change controls, preventive maintenance records, and sustainability projects.

Required profile

• Completed at least freshman year of an accredited university program.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Architecture, Construction, or related field.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience or familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design software.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities.

• Hourly pay ranging from $23.50 to $52.50 based on program year, discipline, and experience.
