Facilities Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Facilities Maintenance Technician joins the Administrative Support team at Pathways Center, a trusted provider of behavioral health services in west‑central Georgia. The role ensures that all Pathways Center‑owned and leased facilities remain safe, functional, and professional for staff and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to multiple sites across west‑central Georgia to perform routine, preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance.
• Receive, prioritize, and close service requests via the SolarWinds help‑desk ticket system, documenting work performed and materials used.
• Communicate ticket status, access needs, and safety concerns with requestors, program leaders, and the Facilities Maintenance Manager.
• Perform general building and equipment upkeep, including painting, drywall, minor carpentry, door and lock repairs, ceiling tile replacement, basic roofing, plumbing fixtures, lighting and electrical fixture swaps, air‑vent cleaning, and routine HVAC checks.
• Identify issues requiring licensed contractors, coordinate site access, and monitor contracted work.
• Provide vehicle maintenance support as needed.

Required profile

• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in building maintenance.
• Ability to work independently while traveling between sites.
• Good communication skills for interacting with staff and external contractors.
• Commitment to safety and timely completion of work orders.
