Facilities Maintenance Technician (Columbus, OH)

About the role

The Facilities Maintenance Technician will perform daily repairs and maintenance on restaurant equipment and property across Wendy's locations in Columbus, OH. You will ensure timely completion of preventative maintenance, respond to urgent repair requests, and support on‑call rotations while working in a fast‑paced, weather‑varying environment.

Key responsibilities

• Reactive Maintenance – address demand repairs identified through My TechConnect work orders and create orders for critical issues discovered on site.
• Preventative Maintenance – execute scheduled PM tasks, generate work orders for additional repairs found during inspections.
• System Utilization – keep My TechConnect work orders up‑to‑date, manage parts and tool inventories, and follow warranty procedures.
• Reporting – document equipment condition and maintenance status to aid capital planning.
• Personal Development – participate in individual development planning and complete required safety training.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1‑3 years of general maintenance/repair experience or equivalent education.
• EPA Certification Type I and II.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb, climb ladders to 30 ft, and work in extreme climates.
• Willingness to work on‑call rotations, overtime, and in varying weather conditions.
