About the role

The Extended Coverage Specialist supports the Operations Department at Bison Transport USA’s Auburn terminal, working Thursday to Saturday from 08:00 to 20:00. The role bridges Customer Service, Fleet Management, and Regional Planning to ensure smooth logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

Serve as the single point of contact for customers, handling order entry, appointment scheduling, issue resolution, and relationship development.
Manage day‑to‑day activities of assigned driver fleet, including message handling, home‑time planning, routing, and accurate ETA/PTA updates.
Book freight, evaluate truck‑load combinations, balance driver availability with customer commitments, and coordinate with dispatchers.

Required profile

High school diploma or equivalent.
Superior data‑entry abilities and strong organizational skills.
Excellent communication, analytical, and critical‑thinking capabilities.
Demonstrated customer‑service experience; transportation experience is a plus.
