Exploit Developer – Remote Cybersecurity AI Role

About the role

DataAnnotation is seeking experienced cybersecurity professionals to work on cutting‑edge AI systems that evaluate and improve security content. This fully remote position allows you to set your own schedule while contributing to the development of AI models that reason about real‑world threats.

Key responsibilities

• Assess AI‑generated cybersecurity outputs such as threat analyses, vulnerability assessments, and offensive techniques for accuracy.
• Design and solve security‑focused technical problems used to train AI models.
• Write clear technical explanations and security‑relevant code.
• Provide feedback that directly influences the next generation of AI security models.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in a cybersecurity role (e.g., penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence).
• Comfort with coding and navigating a codebase.
• Fluent English with strong written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant certifications (OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, etc.) are a plus.
