Experienced Software Developer (Hybrid, Philadelphia)

About the role

AVEVA is seeking an Experienced Software Developer to join its hybrid team in Philadelphia. You will work on mission‑critical industrial software, delivering high‑quality code in a fast‑moving, CI/CD environment.

Key responsibilities

• Make technical decisions across scaling, reliability, performance and maintenance.
• Design, develop, test and debug C#/.NET and TypeScript applications.
• Deliver production‑ready software on schedule with accurate estimates.
• Maintain and extend existing codebases, including areas outside your core expertise.
• Collaborate with architecture, product owners and other development teams to ensure alignment.
• Provide technical support for customers and handle escalated issues.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical documentation and tech talks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience leading medium‑scale initiatives and delivering high‑impact products.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
