Expat Tax Advisor (Part‑Time)

About the role

As a member of H&R Block Expat Tax Services, you will deliver high‑quality U.S. tax preparation, planning, and audit representation to expatriate clients through a virtual platform. You will build and maintain client relationships while ensuring compliance with U.S. tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate U.S. tax returns for expatriate clients based on provided information.
• Manage a portfolio of 275‑600 expat clients during tax season, maintaining high satisfaction levels.
• Assist out‑of‑compliance clients with IRS disclosure programs and reporting requirements.
• Leverage internal resources to resolve complex tax issues and transition acquired clients to the H&R Block brand.
• Stay up‑to‑date with company policies, foreign tax systems, and relevant tax publications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years of experience in U.S. tax preparation or related work.
• Ability to obtain Circular 230 credentials (Enrolled Agent, CPA, or Attorney) within one year if not already held.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including public speaking.
