Executive Producer

About the role

Pipeworks is expanding its Production team and seeks an experienced Executive Producer. The Executive Producer (EP) is accountable for the successful execution and delivery of one or more full‑development game projects, providing executive leadership across production, staffing, financial performance, client relationships, and delivery execution.

Key responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight from project inception through launch and post‑launch support, defining delivery strategy, governance, staffing plans, and milestones.
• Partner with Lead Producers to remove roadblocks, drive accountability across Engineering, Art, Design, QA, Production, and support disciplines.
• Serve as the executive point of contact for publishing and development partners, managing expectations, negotiating scope changes, and leading business reviews.
• Own overall project financial performance, monitoring budgets, forecasts, utilization, burn rate, and profitability.
• Mentor Senior Producers and Project Managers, support hiring, succession planning, and promote sustainable production practices.
• Identify and mitigate schedule, staffing, technical, financial, and quality risks, escalating critical issues with clear recommendations.

Required profile

• 10+ years of professional game development experience.
• 5+ years leading large‑scale game development programs with multiple shipped console, PC, or live‑service titles.
• Strong financial and resource planning experience.
• Proven success managing publisher or external development relationships.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams through all phases of development.
