Executive Communications Writer

About the role

Anthropic is looking for an experienced Executive Communications Writer to help its leaders articulate the company’s story and strategic vision. Working closely with the Head of Executive Communications and senior leaders, you will craft compelling narratives that highlight Anthropic’s AI research breakthroughs, commercial leadership, and public‑benefit commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Originate and shape executive communications across diverse written formats and platforms.
• Collaborate with External Communications and subject‑matter experts to drive high‑impact communication moments.
• Support senior leaders in developing communication focus areas and preparing for major announcements.
• Balance collaborative teamwork with a strategic perspective.

Required profile

• 8+ years of high‑level executive communications experience, preferably in a fast‑moving, industry‑shaping organization.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling ability in high‑stakes, rapid‑pace environments.
• Comfortable supporting senior leaders and navigating ambiguous situations with sound judgment.
• High agency, low ego, and a forward‑looking view on evolving communications disciplines.
• Strong operational capabilities and the ability to produce technically sophisticated content when needed.
