EVS Tech – Facility Cleaning Specialist

About the role

The EVS Tech is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment within a healthcare facility. Reporting to the EVS Supervisor, you will perform routine cleaning tasks and support additional duties as needed to ensure patient and staff areas meet high standards of hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Assist with special projects or ad‑hoc cleaning assignments as directed by the supervisor.
• Follow all safety and infection‑control protocols.
• Document completed tasks and report any maintenance issues.

Required profile

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience (preferred).
• Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting or hospitality services is desirable.
• If assigned to the Emergency Department, completion of the MAB certification on the first day of work (existing employees must complete by 6/9/2025).

Required skills

• MAB certification (when working in the Emergency Department).
