Events Manager

About the role

DUAL North America is looking for an Events Manager to lead the strategy, planning and project management of its full events portfolio, from industry conferences and tradeshows to partner events, philanthropic events, internal employee events and digital events. The role sits in the Marketing and Communications team and reports to the VP of Marketing and Communications. It is based in the Golden, CO office on a hybrid basis (minimum 3 days per week in the office) and requires up to 20% travel.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end event strategy, planning and project management across the events portfolio
• Coordinate DUAL's presence at conferences and tradeshows, including logistics, staffing, sponsorships and booth planning
• Plan and run external events such as broker appreciation events, carrier events and charitable events, and internal events such as holiday parties
• Run quarterly employee townhalls and own branded merchandise ordering, inventory and distribution
• Work with marketing on invitations and pre- and post-event communications
• Negotiate with and manage external vendors, venues and partners
• Manage event budgets, timelines, recaps and ROI and attendance reporting
• Maintain a master events calendar and track event ROI

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality/Event Management or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years in event planning or management, ideally in a B2B setting, managing multiple projects and vendors
• Experience managing event budgets and tracking ROI
• Comfortable working with marketing, business development, underwriting and executives

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

What we offer

• Salary of $75,000 - $90,000
