Event Specialist – Residential Learning Community (Student Living)

About the role

The Event Specialist supports the property management team in driving occupancy and resident satisfaction at a Residential Learning Community. This position blends administrative leasing support with on‑campus marketing and resident event coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Perform leasing office administrative tasks such as copying documents, filing resident files, preparing notices, handling calls, and organizing rent payments.
• Assist sales and leasing activities by conducting virtual tours, responding to online inquiries, greeting prospects, and showing apartments.
• Generate lease paperwork, organize resident lease files, and support move‑in/move‑out processes, including mandatory “turn” dates.
• Conduct on‑campus marketing outreach to raise community awareness and attract qualified traffic.
• Plan, set up, execute, and tear down resident functions—including parties, birthday cards, unit visits, and other programs—to meet satisfaction goals.
• Distribute resident communications such as flyers, newsletters, surveys, and late notices.
• Respond promptly and courteously to resident concerns, escalating issues as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; related work experience preferred.
• Must be enrolled in a local university and maintain good academic standing.
