Event Manager, Security Events

About the role

The ISC Event Manager will lead the expansion of our flagship security trade event into the fast‑growing cybersecurity and digital identity markets. You will shape the strategy, build key relationships, and turn emerging segments into revenue‑generating engines.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute growth strategy for Cybersecurity and Digital Identity segments, including positioning and value propositions.
• Research markets to identify priority companies, associations, influencers, and emerging categories.
• Build and nurture relationships with exhibitors, sponsors, partners, and industry thought leaders.
• Collaborate with sales to qualify prospects and move opportunities through the funnel.
• Provide market insights to sales, marketing, content, and operations teams.
• Partner with marketing to craft target audience messaging and promotional channels.
• Work with programming teams on relevant topics, speakers, and experiential activations.
• Track performance against financial goals and report to leadership.
• Represent ISC at industry conferences, networking events, and market‑building activities.

Required profile

• Proven business development or market development experience in a commercial setting.
• Demonstrated ability to identify growth opportunities and build strategic relationships.
• Experience engaging exhibitors, sponsors, and industry stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills to translate market trends into actionable plans.
