Event Manager (Home Remodeling)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Event Manager to lead the events function for a fast‑growing home improvement company. The role will shape event strategy, drive customer acquisition through live experiences and oversee a high‑performing events team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive event and show strategies that increase brand awareness and generate qualified leads.
• Recruit, lead, coach and develop a high‑performing events team.
• Partner with sales leadership to align event initiatives with business objectives and revenue goals.
• Plan and oversee trade shows, home shows, community events, promotional activations and neighborhood events.
• Coordinate all event logistics including staffing, setup, vendor management, scheduling and on‑site execution.
• Analyze event performance, market trends and competitive activity to optimize future strategies.
• Develop and monitor KPIs, dashboards and reporting to measure team and event success.
• Manage event budgets and allocate resources to maximize return on investment.
• Collaborate with internal marketing teams to create promotional materials, digital campaigns and brand messaging.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors, event organizers, strategic partners and community organizations.

Required profile

• 4+ years of events leadership experience, preferably in home improvement, construction, retail, consumer services or experiential marketing.
• Proven success developing and executing event or customer acquisition strategies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance metrics and make data‑driven decisions.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Willingness to travel locally and regionally as needed.
