ETF Quantitative Developer

About the role

The ETF Quantitative Developer will support the Equity ETF & Indexed Strategies platform by designing, developing, and enhancing portfolio management technology and analytics. Working closely with portfolio managers, analysts, and technology teams, the role delivers scalable solutions that improve oversight, streamline workflows, and strengthen infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Portfolio Management, Research, Operations, and Technology to deliver data‑driven insights, investment analytics, and portfolio reporting.
• Design, develop, and maintain custom tools and applications for ETF and indexed portfolio management.
• Enhance existing portfolio oversight and monitoring frameworks with a focus on scalability and efficiency.
• Build and deploy quantitative models and analytics across internal and external portfolio management systems.
• Automate and streamline daily workflows, reporting, and optimization processes.
• Contribute to the evolution of the team’s data architecture and technology infrastructure.

Required profile

• 0–3 years of experience in quantitative analytics, development, or a related role.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• Ability to work effectively in a high‑volume, team‑oriented environment.
• Exposure to asset management or financial services is a plus.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• R programming.
• C++ or Java (optional).
• Data analysis libraries such as Pandas and Polars.
• Experience with Snowflake data warehouse.
• Knowledge of ETL pipeline development and orchestration tools like Airflow.
