Estimator-Unitized Curtain Wall

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Estimator specialized in unitized curtain wall systems to join our Preconstruction and Estimating team. The role involves developing accurate cost estimates for complex façade projects by analysing drawings, specifications and collaborating with vendors, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and revise detailed material takeoffs and quantity surveys under senior guidance.
• Review architectural, structural and engineering documents to define project scope and pricing.
• Analyse project schedules, mock‑ups, testing requirements and procurement timelines.
• Develop comprehensive cost estimates covering material, labour, equipment, transportation, taxes and subcontractors.
• Produce detailed quantity takeoffs and material summaries for bid packages.
• Solicit, review and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations for completeness and compliance.
• Coordinate bid communications, distribute plans and specifications, and prepare bid proposals with pricing breakdowns.
• Assist senior estimators with pricing, budgeting and proposal development using Bluebeam, Excel and Word.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Experience with commercial glazing, curtain wall and façade systems.
• Ability to manage multiple bid opportunities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective communication skills for coordination with vendors, subcontractors and internal teams.
