Escrow Officer – Bastrop County

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Escrow Officer to join our Independence Title team in Bastrop County, Texas. You will manage residential and commercial real‑estate closings, ensuring each transaction is completed accurately, efficiently and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate and collaborate with internal teams and clients to close transactions in a timely, error‑free manner.
• Process files, prepare CD’s/HUD’s and complete all required closing documents.
• Obtain lender approvals, order updates and determine clearance to close.
• Build and service a business portfolio within the Bastrop County area.
• Support team members proactively and maintain respectful communication.
• Develop relationships with sales representatives and participate in marketing activities to expand the customer base.

Required profile

• Friendly, outgoing and well‑organized with a strong work ethic.
• Professional appearance and conduct that reflects positively on the company.
• Ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships.
• High School diploma or equivalent; must obtain an Escrow Officer license if not already held.
• Minimum 5 years of direct experience as an Escrow Officer/Closer.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
