Escrow Assistant – Secure Land Title

About the role

The Escrow Assistant supports Escrow Officers and local branches to ensure smooth, efficient real‑estate closings. You will manage administrative and compliance tasks throughout the transaction lifecycle, providing a customer‑first experience.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date task lists via workflow dashboards and prevent overdue items.
• Review title commitments, prelims, and buyer/seller information forms.
• Order tax certificates, HOA documents, surveys, payoffs and lien releases.
• Balance files, prepare closing documents, and complete assigned workflow tasks.
• Evaluate contracts and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Compile escrow instruction packages and ensure proper filing.
• Communicate file status, changes and issues to Escrow Officers and branches.
• Identify discrepancies, assess risk, and escalate issues to maintain compliance.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in escrow, title, or real‑estate transaction support.
• Understanding of the full lifecycle of a real‑estate transaction and closing documents.
• Strong attention to detail, self‑motivation and ability to work in a high‑volume, paperless environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using AI tools such as CoPilot, Gemini, or ChatGPT.
• Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple escrow software applications.
