Equipment & Manufacturing Technician (T5)

About the role

As a Manufacturing Technician you will work hands‑on in a cleanroom environment building, testing and repairing multimillion‑dollar display and wafer‑fabrication equipment. The position involves assembling electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic components and ensuring they meet strict quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, troubleshoot and repair electrical, vacuum, pneumatic and electro‑mechanical assemblies using schematics, wiring diagrams and parts lists.
• Perform testing with test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps, and document results.
• Conduct audits of parts availability, inspect for defects and support continuous process improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering on new product integration, provide feedback on manufacturing design and lead Kaizen or DMAIC initiatives.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree with 7‑10 years of relevant experience in electro‑mechanical manufacturing.
• Physically demanding role requiring standing, walking in tight spaces, lifting and use of hand/power tools, and adherence to cleanroom PPE.
• Ability to follow safety standards, report hazards and maintain a clean, secure work environment.
