About the role

Ochsner Health and the Ochsner Neuroscience Institute are seeking board‑certified or board‑eligible neurologists with fellowship training in epilepsy to join their Comprehensive Epilepsy Program. The position offers a collegial, patient‑focused environment with opportunities for leadership, academic appointments, and involvement in cutting‑edge epilepsy care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive epilepsy care to adult and pediatric patients, including diagnosis, medication management, and surgical evaluation.
• Engage in clinical research and present findings at national and international scientific meetings.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible neurologist.
• Fellowship training in epilepsy.
• Epilepsy surgery experience preferred.

Required skills

• Epilepsy surgery techniques.
• Use of MRI‑guided laser ablation technology (Visualase®).
