EPC Project Manager – Power Grid Projects

About the role

We are looking for an EPC Project Manager to lead high‑voltage engineering, procurement and construction projects for substations, protection & controls, and transmission & distribution lines. You will work with engineers, subcontractors and clients to deliver innovative power‑grid solutions on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project life‑cycle, including safety, scope, schedule, budget and risk for complex EPC utility projects.
• Oversee project designs, bill of materials, equipment specifications and construction requirements.
• Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors and clients to achieve project milestones.
• Develop project proposals, schedules and material lists, and provide performance updates to stakeholders.
• Conduct engineering work reviews to ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Travel to client sites and vendor facilities to align on project goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field (or 4 + years relevant experience in utility design, project management or utility engineering).
• 3–10 years experience managing EPC substation, protection & controls or T&D line projects.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities to handle multiple complex projects.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional team leadership and stakeholder engagement.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office – Excel, Word and PowerPoint for cost and schedule reporting.

• Salary $90,000‑$125,000 USD per year (based on experience).
