Environmental Systems Regional Supervisor – Northern Region

About the role

This position leads the management of water, wastewater, and industrial wastewater treatment systems across Maryland's Northern Region, covering Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Harford, Cecil, and Montgomery counties.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all operations and maintenance activities for regional treatment facilities.
• Supervise regional personnel and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Administer budgets, schedules, and performance metrics for the region.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent plus approved CSUS self‑study courses.
• Either 1 year as an Environmental Systems Assistant Regional Supervisor or 8 years of progressive experience in water/wastewater/industrial wastewater operations, including 3 years supervising staff.
• Valid driver’s license with fewer than 5 points.
• Operator’s certificates for Wastewater Class 5 and/or Water Class 4 accepted by the Maryland State Board.
