Environmental Project Manager

About the role

Green Seal Environmental (a division of Cref) is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to lead site investigation and remediation projects for state and federal programs, as well as regional infrastructure initiatives. This senior position requires strong planning, communication, and leadership abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ASTM Phase I/II reports, MCP Immediate Response Action and Release Abatement Measure reports.
• Develop Health and Safety Plans, SPCC Plans, SWPPP Plans, and regulatory permit filings (Tier II, GHG, AQSR, UST).
• Oversee field sampling (soil, groundwater, soil vapor, indoor air) and program oversight for HASP, UST removal, soil excavation, and borings installation.
• Prepare budgets, scopes of work, contracts/proposals, and manage project invoicing.
• Communicate directly with clients, provide technical and QA/QC review, and manage sub‑contractors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Engineering, Geology or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a CORI check.
• OSHA 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification.
• 8+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Proven project and client management experience with strong written and oral communication skills.
