Entry-Level RTE Operator – Swing Shift

About the role

The Turlock Plant is looking for an entry‑level RTE Operator to work the swing shift. Under direct supervision you will learn to operate critical food‑processing equipment while ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and safely operate plant equipment such as blanchers, slicers, dicers, and pasteurizers.
• Participate in equipment setup, monitoring, and operational adjustments to meet production and quality targets.
• Track key process measures, record variances, and report waste, downtime, and foreign material incidents.
• Perform product sampling tests and enter data into computer systems.
• Support preventative maintenance alongside experienced operators and maintenance staff.
• Attend daily pre‑shift meetings and maintain housekeeping and sanitation standards.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of production/manufacturing experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate equipment via an Operator Interface Terminal.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with limited supervision.
• Understanding of food safety regulations, HACCP, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
