Entry-Level Remote Data Entry Clerk

About the role

CodeVertex Careers is looking for an entry‑level Data Entry Clerk to join its operations team remotely from anywhere in the United States. The role focuses on entering, verifying and maintaining customer and account information in internal systems, providing a solid foundation for a career in data management and remote administrative support.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately input customer, account and operational data into company databases and management platforms.
• Review submitted information for completeness, correct formatting and accuracy, flagging any discrepancies for a supervisor.
• Maintain organized digital records across multiple client accounts and internal databases.
• Meet daily accuracy and productivity targets set by team management.
• Communicate task updates, questions and completion status to team leads via email and messaging tools.
• Handle all data, account records and customer information with strict confidentiality.
• Assist with document formatting, file management and general administrative support as needed.
• Participate in brief team check‑ins and training sessions to stay current on processes and system updates.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Typing speed of at least 40 WPM with high accuracy.
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet, distraction‑free home workspace.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy on high‑volume data tasks.
• Self‑motivated, able to manage time effectively and work independently.
• Pass a pre‑employment background check.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
