Entry-Level Production Associate – Plywood Mill

About the role

Join Boise Cascade’s production team as an entry‑level associate working in a plywood mill. You will help keep the manufacturing line moving while learning the fundamentals of wood product production.

Key responsibilities

• Move or fit heavy objects and load/unload material, workpieces, or containers into machinery.
• Operate two‑way radios or mobile phones to coordinate with team members.
• Maintain production or work records and perform safety inspections.
• Examine products to verify conformance to specifications.
• Clean rooms, work areas, equipment, and machinery.
• Sort manufacturing materials or products and measure, weigh, or count items.
• Operate hoist, winch, or hydraulic boom and use hand or power tools.
• Attach or mark identification onto products or containers.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work any shift and willingness to be promoted to machinery operator.
• Basic written communication and math fundamentals.
