Entry-Level Production Associate – Plywood Mill

About the role

Join Boise Cascade’s production team as an entry‑level associate working in a plywood mill. You will support daily manufacturing operations, handling materials and equipment while ensuring product quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Move, fit, load, unload, and stack heavy objects, containers, and materials.
• Operate hoists, winches, hydraulic booms, and other machinery.
• Use two‑way radios or mobile phones to coordinate workflow.
• Maintain clean work areas, equipment, and rooms.
• Measure, weigh, count, and verify products against specifications.
• Perform safety inspections and record production data.
• Attach or mark identification on products and containers.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience (preferred).
• Basic math and written communication skills.
• Availability for any shift and potential promotion to machinery operator.
