About the role

Varco Home Health & Hospice is seeking a friendly and organized Office Coordinator to join its Houston office. This entry‑level position offers a chance to start a career in healthcare administration while directly supporting patient care through accurate information management.

Key responsibilities

• Validate Primary Care Physician (PCP) information for new and existing patients.
• Contact patients by phone to confirm PCP details.
• Communicate with physician offices to verify patient records and referrals.
• Document all information accurately in electronic medical records and company systems.
• Follow up on missing or incomplete data promptly.
• Collaborate with intake and clinical teams to ensure patient information is correct.
• Provide excellent customer service during every patient interaction.
• Perform general administrative and office support duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong verbal communication and phone etiquette.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
