Enterprise IT Communications Advisor (Senior/Advanced)

About the role

The Enterprise IT Communications Advisor will join the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond’s National IT team to lead executive and stakeholder communications during high‑impact IT incidents and major system deployments. This senior‑level position works closely with the Enterprise Incident Management team and IT partners across the Federal Reserve System.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 executive and user communications support for major IT incidents, drafting real‑time updates and distributing key messages.
• Coordinate system‑wide IT communications to inform employees about upcoming activities, deployments, and changes.
• Collaborate with the Enterprise Incident Management team to ensure consistent messaging during crises.
• Develop strategic communications and storytelling materials that convey the vision, value, successes, and challenges of the IT organization.
• Assist with special projects, including executive briefings and stakeholder outreach.

Required profile

• Strong storytelling and writing skills with experience supporting executive communications.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment.
• Advanced level of expertise in IT communications and incident response.
• Flexibility to operate across multiple locations (Richmond, VA; Kansas City, MO; Dallas, TX; New York, NY).
