English & Humanities Instructor (Full‑Time)

About the role

Fort Peck Community College seeks a full‑time English and Humanities Instructor to join its faculty. The successful candidate will teach freshman and sophomore courses, contribute to curriculum development, and support a diverse student body.

Key responsibilities

• Teach a full‑time load of 15‑18 credits per semester, covering English literature and humanities courses.
• Develop, review, and update syllabi, course materials, and assessments to ensure they are current, evidence‑based, and culturally responsive.
• Deliver instruction in multiple formats, including in‑person, hybrid, and online (synchronous and asynchronous).
• Evaluate student progress through exams, papers, projects, and provide timely feedback.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum planning, and college community activities.
