Engineering Trainer – Commercial HVAC Applications

About the role

The Engineering Trainer – Commercial HVAC Applications joins Bosch Home Comfort’s Factory Training team. Reporting to the Sales Technology and Training Innovation Lead, the role drives specification of Bosch technologies by educating engineers, design‑build contractors and bid‑spec representatives across the United States and Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high‑level technical presentations, seminars and workshops for engineering firms and specifying engineers.
• Create and maintain a library of technical sales and design tools, including application guides, system‑selection software tutorials, BIM object libraries and master specification documents.
• Translate complex product features into clear performance and application benefits for the design and specification process.
• Provide specialized training on Bosch’s expanded commercial portfolio – light‑commercial RTUs, Hitachi VRF, and Bosch WSHP systems.
• Support market integration of new product lines and promote industry trends such as electrification, decarbonisation and low‑GWP refrigerants.

Required profile

• Deep expertise in system design, application and specification of light‑commercial rooftop units, Water Source Heat Pump (WSHP) systems and 3‑phase Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems.
• Mid‑level professional comfortable with up to 30% travel across the US and Canada.
• Strong engineering acumen combined with polished presentation skills.
• Passion for influencing future building design and sustainability.
