Engineering Specialist – Semiconductor Manufacturing (C Shift)

About the role

Join Bosch's expanding semiconductor business as an Engineering Specialist in Roseville, CA. You will work on cutting‑edge silicon carbide production, supporting process control, material disposition, and yield improvement on a C‑shift schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve production operating problems and support the manufacturing line.
• Accurately disposition discrepant material reports (DMR) and analyse trends.
• Communicate experiment results, tool qualifications and engineering findings.
• Develop and deliver operator training and best‑practice specifications.
• Analyse test and inspection yields, conduct failure analysis and drive quality improvements.
• Evaluate new manufacturing technologies and maintain standard operating procedures.
• Design systems to reduce cycle time, improve throughput, increase efficiency and lower costs.

Required profile

• A.S. degree in Chemistry, Electronics, Physics, Mathematics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure and show strong self‑initiative.
• Excellent reading of technical documents and good oral/written communication.
• US work authorization; no sponsorship available.

Required skills

• Process control and troubleshooting in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Disposition of discrepant material and data analysis.
• Yield improvement and failure analysis techniques.
• Development of standard operating procedures.
• Experience in a cleanroom environment with semiconductor equipment (preferred).
