Engineering Specialist I-II – D Shift (Wed-Fri, Sat)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Engineering Specialist (Level I or II) to join Bosch’s semiconductor manufacturing facility in Roseville, CA. The role works the D shift (Wednesday‑Friday and every other Saturday, 6 pm‑6 am) and supports process control, material disposition, and yield improvement activities.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve production operating problems and support the manufacturing line.
• Accurately disposition discrepant material reports (DMR) and analyse trends.
• Communicate results of experiments, tool qualifications and engineering tasks to production.
• Develop and deliver operator training and write specifications for best practices.
• Analyze test and inspection yields, conduct failure analysis and drive yield improvement.
• Evaluate new manufacturing technologies and maintain standard operating procedures.
• Design systems to reduce cycle time, increase throughput, improve efficiency and lower costs.

Required profile

• AS degree in Chemistry, Electronics, Physics, Mathematics or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure and follow technical documentation.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
• Flexibility, self‑initiative and willingness to work the D shift schedule.
