Engineer Manager - Integration

About the role

Applied Controls, a SunSource company, is seeking an Engineer Manager – Integration to lead its Solutions Group. You will oversee end‑to‑end delivery of automation projects, from concept through commissioning, while driving growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership to the Solutions team, run weekly update meetings, assign projects and give feedback.
• Partner with Sales to define scope, schedule, pricing and develop competitive proposals.
• Assign lead engineers, track project status, communicate weekly updates to sales and customers.
• Manage shop resources, purchase consumables, and coordinate component ordering with purchasing.
• Oversee system design, ensure feasibility studies and prototyping, and maintain an organized shop.
• Maintain strong customer relationships, provide status updates and high‑level service.

Required profile

• Broad electro‑mechanical knowledge covering mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and software aspects of automation projects.
• Experience guiding teams through design, prototyping, and implementation phases.
• Ability to conduct feasibility studies, create BOMs and pricing estimates.
