Engineer IV - AWS Cloud Engineer

About the role

The Engineer IV – AWS Cloud Engineer is a senior technical contributor responsible for designing, implementing, automating, and supporting enterprise‑scale cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services. The role provides technical leadership for complex initiatives, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and cost‑effective while aligning with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure and platform services.
• Lead the implementation of highly available, scalable, and secure cloud solutions.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Automate provisioning, configuration management, deployment, and operational processes.
• Engineer and support cloud networking components such as VPCs, routing, load balancers, VPNs, and hybrid‑cloud connectivity.
• Implement and maintain security controls including IAM, encryption, logging, and monitoring to meet regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, application, and service issues across environments.
• Evaluate emerging AWS technologies and recommend architectural improvements.
• Drive cloud modernization and migration initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience designing and operating large‑scale AWS environments.
• Strong technical leadership and ability to collaborate with engineering, security, operations, and application teams.
