Endoscopy RN Scheduler – Jefferson Highway

About the role

This position provides leadership in scheduling and coordinating endoscopy patients while applying the nursing process and adhering to professional standards. The RN Scheduler works closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and efficient use of resources.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately schedule endoscopy patients, communicate appointments, and educate diverse groups on procedures.
• Delegate, direct, and manage nursing team resources, serving as a leader on the interdisciplinary team.
• Use data and knowledge to evaluate processes and promote changes for better outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant nursing experience, preferably in endoscopy or related clinical settings.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with patients and staff.
