About the role
The EMS Lab Assistant supports the Program Director and lead instructors in delivering classroom and laboratory instruction for emergency medical services programs. This position involves supervising students, maintaining a safe lab environment, and handling administrative tasks across multiple Georgia locations.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Program Director and lead instructors in teaching, supervising, and evaluating students in lab and classroom settings.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols, including proper use of equipment and tools.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas and laboratories.
- Request, receive, and manage supplies and equipment needed for courses.
- Prepare and file required documentation, reports, and administrative records.
- Collaborate with students, faculty, and staff to discuss instructional programs and resolve issues.
- Complete annual training on bloodborne pathogens, medical emergency response, and teaching methodology.
